بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
– In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
الرَ تِلْكَ آيَاتُ الْكِتَابِ وَقُرْآنٍ مُّبِينٍ
– These are the verses of the book and the Koran shown
رُّبَمَا يَوَدُّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَوْ كَانُواْ مُسْلِمِينَ
– Maybe the unbelievers would like if they were Muslims.
ذَرْهُمْ يَأْكُلُواْ وَيَتَمَتَّعُواْ وَيُلْهِهِمُ الأَمَلُ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ
– Their offspring eat, enjoy, inspire hope, they will know.
وَمَا أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَرْيَةٍ إِلاَّ وَلَهَا كِتَابٌ مَّعْلُومٌ
– We have destroyed no village but it has a well-known book.
مَّا تَسْبِقُ مِنْ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلَهَا وَمَا يَسْتَأْخِرُونَ
– What a nation is ahead of its time and what they’re taking too long.
وَقَالُواْ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِي نُزِّلَ عَلَيْهِ الذِّكْرُ إِنَّكَ لَمَجْنُونٌ
– They said Oh you who downloaded it gold and you’re just the
لَّوْ مَا تَأْتِينَا بِالْمَلائِكَةِ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ
– If you bring us angels, if you’re honest.
مَا نُنَزِّلُ الْمَلائِكَةَ إِلاَّ بِالْحَقِّ وَمَا كَانُواْ إِذًا مُّنظَرِينَ
– We only bring down the Angels by the truth, and then they are not visible.
إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا الذِّكْرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُ لَحَافِظُونَ
– We have brought down the male, and we are his keepers.
وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ فِي شِيَعِ الأَوَّلِينَ
– And we were sent by you in the first two months.
وَمَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلاَّ كَانُواْ بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِؤُونَ
– And no messenger came to them, but they were making fun of him.
كَذَلِكَ نَسْلُكُهُ فِي قُلُوبِ الْمُجْرِمِينَ
– So do we in the hearts of criminals.
لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ وَقَدْ خَلَتْ سُنَّةُ الأَوَّلِينَ
– They don’t believe in him, and it’s been a year since the first two.
وَلَوْ فَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِم بَابًا مِّنَ السَّمَاء فَظَلُّواْ فِيهِ يَعْرُجُونَ
– And if we opened a door from heaven, they would still limp.
لَقَالُواْ إِنَّمَا سُكِّرَتْ أَبْصَارُنَا بَلْ نَحْنُ قَوْمٌ مَّسْحُورُونَ
– They’d say we’re just drunk. we’re enchanted people.
وَلَقَدْ جَعَلْنَا فِي السَّمَاء بُرُوجًا وَزَيَّنَّاهَا لِلنَّاظِرِينَ
– And we made a tower in the sky and decorated it for the beholders.
وَحَفِظْنَاهَا مِن كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ رَّجِيمٍ
– And we saved her from every demon.
إِلاَّ مَنِ اسْتَرَقَ السَّمْعَ فَأَتْبَعَهُ شِهَابٌ مُّبِينٌ
– Except for the one who eavesdropped.
وَالأَرْضَ مَدَدْنَاهَا وَأَلْقَيْنَا فِيهَا رَوَاسِيَ وَأَنبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ شَيْءٍ مَّوْزُونٍ
– And the Earth we extended and threw my rosy and we grew in it from everything weighed.
وَجَعَلْنَا لَكُمْ فِيهَا مَعَايِشَ وَمَن لَّسْتُمْ لَهُ بِرَازِقِينَ
– And we made you a living, and those of you who are not.
وَإِن مِّن شَيْءٍ إِلاَّ عِندَنَا خَزَائِنُهُ وَمَا نُنَزِّلُهُ إِلاَّ بِقَدَرٍ مَّعْلُومٍ
– And there’s nothing we can do but have its closets, and we can only bring it down as far as we know.
وَأَرْسَلْنَا الرِّيَاحَ لَوَاقِحَ فَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ السَّمَاء مَاء فَأَسْقَيْنَاكُمُوهُ وَمَا أَنتُمْ لَهُ بِخَازِنِينَ
– And we sent a wind with panel water from the sky fascinated, and what you saw
وَإِنَّا لَنَحْنُ نُحْيِي وَنُمِيتُ وَنَحْنُ الْوَارِثُونَ
– And we shall live and die as heirs.
وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْنَا الْمُسْتَقْدِمِينَ مِنكُمْ وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْنَا الْمُسْتَأْخِرِينَ
– And we’ve taught those of you, and we’ve taught those of you.
وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ إِنَّهُ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٌ
– And if your Lord is cornering them, he is wise and knowledgeable.
وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الإِنسَانَ مِن صَلْصَالٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ
– And we made man out of clay from an old mother-in-law.
وَالْجَانَّ خَلَقْنَاهُ مِن قَبْلُ مِن نَّارِ السَّمُومِ
– And the elves were created by the fire of poison.
وَإِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلائِكَةِ إِنِّي خَالِقٌ بَشَرًا مِّن صَلْصَالٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ
– And when your Lord said to the Angels, I am creating a human being out of clay from an old mother-in-law.
فَإِذَا سَوَّيْتُهُ وَنَفَخْتُ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِي فَقَعُواْ لَهُ سَاجِدِينَ
– And if I settle it and blow it out of my soul, they fall for it.
فَسَجَدَ الْمَلائِكَةُ كُلُّهُمْ أَجْمَعُونَ
– The Angels prostrate themselves together.
إِلاَّ إِبْلِيسَ أَبَى أَن يَكُونَ مَعَ السَّاجِدِينَ
– Except Lucifer, my father would be with the prostrators.
قَالَ يَا إِبْلِيسُ مَا لَكَ أَلاَّ تَكُونَ مَعَ السَّاجِدِينَ
– He said, Satan, you can’t be with the prostrators.
قَالَ لَمْ أَكُن لِّأَسْجُدَ لِبَشَرٍ خَلَقْتَهُ مِن صَلْصَالٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ
– He said, ” I would never worship a human being made of clay from an old mother-in-law.”
قَالَ فَاخْرُجْ مِنْهَا فَإِنَّكَ رَجِيمٌ
– He said, ” Get Out of it.”
وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكَ اللَّعْنَةَ إِلَى يَوْمِ الدِّينِ
– And fuck you until the day of religion.
قَالَ رَبِّ فَأَنظِرْنِي إِلَى يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ
– He said, ” God, look at me for the day they are resurrected.”
قَالَ فَإِنَّكَ مِنَ الْمُنظَرِينَ
– He said You’re a theorist.
إِلَى يَوْمِ الْوَقْتِ الْمَعْلُومِ
– To the day of the known time
قَالَ رَبِّ بِمَا أَغْوَيْتَنِي لأُزَيِّنَنَّ لَهُمْ فِي الأَرْضِ وَلأُغْوِيَنَّهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
– He said, ” Lord, what you have seduced me, I will adorn them in the Earth, and I will seduce them all.”
إِلاَّ عِبَادَكَ مِنْهُمُ الْمُخْلَصِينَ
– Except your faithful servants.
قَالَ هَذَا صِرَاطٌ عَلَيَّ مُسْتَقِيمٌ
– He said that’s a straight path.
إِنَّ عِبَادِي لَيْسَ لَكَ عَلَيْهِمْ سُلْطَانٌ إِلاَّ مَنِ اتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ الْغَاوِينَ
– My worshippers have no authority over them except those who follow you from the ghouls.
وَإِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ لَمَوْعِدُهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
– And hell is for all of them.
لَهَا سَبْعَةُ أَبْوَابٍ لِّكُلِّ بَابٍ مِّنْهُمْ جُزْءٌ مَّقْسُومٌ
– It has seven doors for each door, of which one is divided.
إِنَّ الْمُتَّقِينَ فِي جَنَّاتٍ وَعُيُونٍ
– The pious are in heaven and eyes.
ادْخُلُوهَا بِسَلامٍ آمِنِينَ
– Enter it in peace, safe
وَنَزَعْنَا مَا فِي صُدُورِهِم مِّنْ غِلٍّ إِخْوَانًا عَلَى سُرُرٍ مُّتَقَابِلِينَ
– And we took off our brothers ‘ chests on opposite beds.
لاَ يَمَسُّهُمْ فِيهَا نَصَبٌ وَمَا هُم مِّنْهَا بِمُخْرَجِينَ
– They don’t have a monument and they don’t have directors.
نَبِّىءْ عِبَادِي أَنِّي أَنَا الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ
– Tell my worshippers that I am The Forgiving, the merciful.
وَأَنَّ عَذَابِي هُوَ الْعَذَابُ الأَلِيمَ
– And that my punishment is the painful torment
وَنَبِّئْهُمْ عَن ضَيْفِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ
– Tell them about the guest of Abraham
إِذْ دَخَلُواْ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالُواْ سَلامًا قَالَ إِنَّا مِنكُمْ وَجِلُونَ
– When they walked in, they said peace. he said, ” We’re all of you.”
قَالُواْ لاَ تَوْجَلْ إِنَّا نُبَشِّرُكَ بِغُلامٍ عَلِيمٍ
– They said, ” Don’t worry. we’re preaching to you a good boy.”
قَالَ أَبَشَّرْتُمُونِي عَلَى أَن مَّسَّنِيَ الْكِبَرُ فَبِمَ تُبَشِّرُونَ
– He said you preached to me that old age touched me.
قَالُواْ بَشَّرْنَاكَ بِالْحَقِّ فَلاَ تَكُن مِّنَ الْقَانِطِينَ
– They said We told you the truth. don’t be a Qantas.
قَالَ وَمَن يَقْنَطُ مِن رَّحْمَةِ رَبِّهِ إِلاَّ الضَّالُّونَ
– He said, ” and who is despondent of the mercy of his Lord except the stray.”
قَالَ فَمَا خَطْبُكُمْ أَيُّهَا الْمُرْسَلُونَ
– He said, ” what’s wrong with you messengers?”
قَالُواْ إِنَّا أُرْسِلْنَا إِلَى قَوْمٍ مُّجْرِمِينَ
– They said We were sent to a criminal population.
إِلاَّ آلَ لُوطٍ إِنَّا لَمُنَجُّوهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
– Except the lot, we’re all for them.
إِلاَّ امْرَأَتَهُ قَدَّرْنَا إِنَّهَا لَمِنَ الْغَابِرِينَ
– Except for his woman, our destiny. she’s an outsider.
فَلَمَّا جَاءَ آلَ لُوطٍ الْمُرْسَلُونَ
– So when the sent lot came,
قَالَ إِنَّكُمْ قَوْمٌ مُّنكَرُونَ
– He said You’re a people of denial.
قَالُواْ بَلْ جِئْنَاكَ بِمَا كَانُواْ فِيهِ يَمْتَرُونَ
– They said We brought you where they were lying.
وَأَتَيْنَاكَ بِالْحَقِّ وَإِنَّا لَصَادِقُونَ
– And we brought you the truth, and we’re honest.
فَأَسْرِ بِأَهْلِكَ بِقِطْعٍ مِّنَ اللَّيْلِ وَاتَّبِعْ أَدْبَارَهُمْ وَلاَ يَلْتَفِتْ مِنكُمْ أَحَدٌ وَامْضُواْ حَيْثُ تُؤْمَرُونَ
– Capture your people in pieces of the night, follow their lead, and no one turns a blind eye.
وَقَضَيْنَا إِلَيْهِ ذَلِكَ الأَمْرَ أَنَّ دَابِرَ هَؤُلاء مَقْطُوعٌ مُّصْبِحِينَ
– And we told him that the dapper ones were cut off.
وَجَاءَ أَهْلُ الْمَدِينَةِ يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ
– And the people of the city came to preach.
قَالَ إِنَّ هَؤُلاء ضَيْفِي فَلاَ تَفْضَحُونِ
– He said These are my guests. don’t expose.
وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَلاَ تُخْزُونِ
– Fear God and do not stockpile
قَالُوا أَوَلَمْ نَنْهَكَ عَنِ الْعَالَمِينَ
– They said, ” didn’t we distract you from the worlds?”
قَالَ هَؤُلاء بَنَاتِي إِن كُنتُمْ فَاعِلِينَ
– He said These are my daughters, if you’re doing
لَعَمْرُكَ إِنَّهُمْ لَفِي سَكْرَتِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ
– For your age, they’re drunk, they’re blind.
فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ الصَّيْحَةُ مُشْرِقِينَ
– So the yell took them bright.
فَجَعَلْنَا عَالِيَهَا سَافِلَهَا وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ حِجَارَةً مِّن سِجِّيلٍ
– So we made her a bitch and rained stones on them from a log.
إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّلْمُتَوَسِّمِينَ
– There are signs for the two seasons.
وَإِنَّهَا لَبِسَبِيلٍ مُّقِيمٍ
– And she’s a resident.
إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لآيَةً لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
– It has a sign for the believers.
وَإِن كَانَ أَصْحَابُ الأَيْكَةِ لَظَالِمِينَ
– And if the Ike people are unjust,
فَانتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ وَإِنَّهُمَا لَبِإِمَامٍ مُّبِينٍ
– So we took revenge on them, and they are a clear Imam.
وَلَقَدْ كَذَّبَ أَصْحَابُ الحِجْرِ الْمُرْسَلِينَ
– And the stone owners lied to the dispatchers.
وَآتَيْنَاهُمْ آيَاتِنَا فَكَانُواْ عَنْهَا مُعْرِضِينَ
– And we gave them our verses, so they were exposed.
وَكَانُواْ يَنْحِتُونَ مِنَ الْجِبَالِ بُيُوتًا آمِنِينَ
– They were carving out safe houses from the mountains.
فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ الصَّيْحَةُ مُصْبِحِينَ
– So the Scream took them away.
فَمَا أَغْنَى عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَكْسِبُونَ
– What was richer for them was what they earned.
وَمَا خَلَقْنَا السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا إِلاَّ بِالْحَقِّ وَإِنَّ السَّاعَةَ لآتِيَةٌ فَاصْفَحِ الصَّفْحَ الْجَمِيلَ
– We did not create the heavens and the Earth and everything between them except with truth, and the hour is coming.
إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ الْخَلاَّقُ الْعَلِيمُ
– Your Lord is the creator, the knowing.
وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَاكَ سَبْعًا مِّنَ الْمَثَانِي وَالْقُرْآنَ الْعَظِيمَ
– And we have given you seven muthani and the great Qur’an.
لاَ تَمُدَّنَّ عَيْنَيْكَ إِلَى مَا مَتَّعْنَا بِهِ أَزْوَاجًا مِّنْهُمْ وَلاَ تَحْزَنْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَاخْفِضْ جَنَاحَكَ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
– Don’t turn your eyes to what our husbands have enjoyed, don’t grieve for them, and lower your wing to the faithful.
وَقُلْ إِنِّي أَنَا النَّذِيرُ الْمُبِينُ
– And say I am the harbinger.
كَمَا أَنزَلْنَا عَلَى المُقْتَسِمِينَ
– We also dropped the two.
الَّذِينَ جَعَلُوا الْقُرْآنَ عِضِينَ
– Who made the Qur’an organelle
فَوَرَبِّكَ لَنَسْأَلَنَّهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
– Vorbeck, let’s ask them all.
عَمَّا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
– What they were doing.
فَاصْدَعْ بِمَا تُؤْمَرُ وَأَعْرِضْ عَنِ الْمُشْرِكِينَ
– So be true to your command and turn away from the idolaters.
إِنَّا كَفَيْنَاكَ الْمُسْتَهْزِئِينَ
– We’ve had enough of you scoffers.
الَّذِينَ يَجْعَلُونَ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَهًا آخَرَ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ
– Who makes with God another god, they’ll know
وَلَقَدْ نَعْلَمُ أَنَّكَ يَضِيقُ صَدْرُكَ بِمَا يَقُولُونَ
– And we know you’re getting tight with what they say.
فَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ وَكُن مِّنَ السَّاجِدِينَ
– Praise your Lord, and be one of the prostrators.
وَاعْبُدْ رَبَّكَ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَكَ الْيَقِينُ
– And worship your Lord until you have certainty.
صدق الله العظيم
