Hebrew Grammar

In Hebrew there is a male-female distinction in names and infinities.

Men’s Words: Table = Shulhan, House = Bayite, Book = Expedition

Female words: Mora = female teacher, Kita= class, taxi = Monit

Men end up with different sounds of objects and names. for example:

Ten words ending with sound: Aron = closet, Malon = Hotel, Shaon = hours, Halon = window

Words ending with E: more = male teacher, Rofe = male doctor

Words ending with T sesim: Şelet = Lehva, Şevet = Tribe, Şeket = silence

Words ending with ah sound: = Tapuah = Apple, Shatiah = carpet, Avatatiah = watermelon

If we want to add adjectives to the words considered as men, the adjective should also be added as men. For example: big Gadol and the Sulhan Gadol means big table.

Feminine words:

Female words ending with a voice: Mora = female teacher, Yalda = female child, Mushaha = family, Nephriya = library

‘Words ending with T’ tone ‘ = Mahberet = notebook, delet = door, Magevet = towel

If we want to add adjectives to the words that are considered feminine, the adjective must also add feminine form.

For example: great gdala means mahberet gdola is great notebook.
