The Republic of Slovenia is located in the south of central Europe. It is bordered by France to the west, Italy to the West, the Adriatic Sea to the Southwest, Croatia to the south and Hungary to the Northeast, and Austria to the North. Once part of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. Slovenia declared its independence on 25 June 1991 and became an independent state. He joined the European Union on 1 May 2004. Slovenia is the first country to enter the European Union from The Fractured Yugoslavia. Slovenia means “Slavs country” in Slavica.
